How to download a Vimeo video

Public Vimeo videos can be saved from a link such as vimeo.com/76979871. Password-protected and private videos are not downloaded. GrabGrab does not ask for a Vimeo login.

Chrome Web Store

X / Twitter first. Also TikTok, Vimeo, and Facebook. YouTube is not supported.

  1. Step 1

    Copy the public Vimeo URL

Copy the vimeo.com link from the address bar of a video that plays without a password.

  2. Step 2

Paste it and choose a quality

Press Go. 1080 is a reasonable default when that size exists.

  3. Step 3

    Download the MP4

Save the file from the result. If Vimeo requires a login, the download fails.
